We recognise that sustainability is an ongoing journey and are continually striving to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible. Below are some of the initiatives we have implemented to date.
At Mantra Broadbeach on the Park, we are dedicated to removing single-use plastics across all of our guest rooms. As part of this commitment, we have made a significant decision to eliminate single-use plastic dry amenities, such as toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps from our guest rooms, significantly reducing our environmental footprint. Instead, guests can request biodegradable bamboo alternatives by calling room service or visiting our friendly team at reception.
As part of our ongoing efforts, to reduce our waste outputs, we have made the decision to replace our single use bathroom amenities, with refillable pump dispensers throughout the hotel. By eliminating single-use plastic bottles, we are significantly reducing the amount of waste generated by our operations without compromising on quality.
At Mantra Broadbeach on the Park, we are committed to maintaining strong connections with our local community. To support tourism in the Gold Coast region, we promote a range of local tour providers through our in-house concierge service and online booking platforms. Furthermore, our team of seasoned locals are happy to provide dining recommendations and home-grown favourites to support local businesses in the area.
Mantra Broadbeach on the Park would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Gold Coast region, the Kombumerri people, and extend that respect to their Elders past and present.
At Mantra Broadbeach on the Park, we strive to accommodate the diverse needs of all our guests, including those with mobility challenges. While we don't currently have dedicated accessible rooms, our open-plan apartments are designed with spacious layouts to provide ease of movement and comfort for all guests.
Our apartments feature wide doorways and corridors, allowing for easy navigation with mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers. The open-plan design ensures that there are no barriers or tight spaces that could impede movement within the living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms which have walk in showers.
We understand that external access is crucial for guests requiring mobility assistance, with easy access from our lifts to the common area with external ramps to our heated pool. These ramps ensure smooth and safe entry and exit from the apartments to the common area allowing guests to enjoy their stay with peace of mind.
Additionally, our friendly staff are available to assist with special accessibility needs or requests to ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay with us.
